At SherryBerryLifestyle, we take pride in creating handcrafted, artisanal soy wax candles made with love and dedication. Each piece is unique and created in small batches in Canada. Due to the handmade nature of our products, we have established the following return and refund policy.
OUR POLICY
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or returns except in very specific circumstances outlined below.
WHEN WE DO OFFER REFUNDS OR REPLACEMENTS
We will accept returns and offer refunds or replacements ONLY in the following cases:
Damaged or Broken Items
- If your candle arrives broken, cracked, or damaged during shipping
- You must notify us immediately upon receipt (within 48 hours of delivery)
- You must provide photographic evidence showing the damage
- Photos must clearly show both the damaged product and the shipping packaging
Non-Delivery
- If your package never arrives at the shipping address provided
- We will work with you to investigate with the shipping carrier
- Once confirmed as lost, we will offer a full refund or replacement
WHEN WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS
Due to the artisanal and handmade nature of our candles, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds for the following reasons:
1. Shipping Delays
We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by:
- Shipping carriers (postal service, courier companies)
- Weather conditions
- Customs delays (for international orders)
- Incorrect address provided by customer
- Recipient unavailability for delivery
While we strive to ship promptly, delivery times are estimates and not guarantees. Please plan accordingly for gifts or special occasions.
2. Scent Preferences
We cannot offer refunds if:
- You don't like the fragrance after purchase
- The scent is different than you expected
- The scent is too strong or too weak for your preference
- You have allergies or sensitivities to the fragrance (please review ingredient lists before purchasing)
Scent preferences are highly subjective. We provide detailed scent descriptions to help you make an informed choice.
3. Color Variations
We cannot offer refunds if:
- The color appears different than in product photos
- There are slight variations in dye intensity
- Natural color variations occur in the soy wax
Colors may vary slightly due to natural ingredients, screen display settings, and lighting in photos. Each candle is unique.
4. Texture and Surface Appearance
We cannot offer refunds if:
- The candle surface appears rough, uneven, or has a frosty appearance
- There are minor imperfections, air bubbles, or texture variations
- The wax has developed a white film (frosting) - this is natural for soy wax
- Temperature changes during shipping have caused cosmetic changes to the wax
Important: We use 100% natural, organic soy wax. Unlike paraffin wax, soy wax is sensitive to temperature fluctuations during shipping and storage. This can cause:
- Frosting: A white, crystalline coating that appears on the surface
- Rough texture: An uneven or bumpy surface
- Wet spots: Areas where wax appears to pull away from the container
These are natural characteristics of pure soy wax and do NOT affect the candle's performance, burn quality, or scent throw. They are signs of quality, natural ingredients.
5. Handmade Variations
We cannot offer refunds if:
- The candle doesn't look exactly like the product photos
- There are minor differences between your candle and others you've purchased
- Small imperfections are visible (these add to the artisanal character)
- You expected a mass-produced, "perfect" appearance
Each candle is handcrafted individually. Slight variations in appearance, color, texture, and finish are normal and expected. No two candles are exactly identical - this is what makes them special!
6. Buyer's Remorse
We cannot offer refunds for:
- Change of mind after purchase
- "I don't like it" or "It's not what I expected"
- Ordering the wrong item or size
- Duplicate orders placed by mistake
Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase.
HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND OR REPLACEMENT
If you believe you qualify for a refund or replacement based on our policy (damaged/broken items or non-delivery), please follow these steps:
- Contact us immediately - within 48 hours of receiving your order

- Include in your email:
- Your order number
- Your name and shipping address
- Clear description of the issue
- Photos showing the damage (if applicable)
- Photos of the shipping packaging (if applicable)
- Wait for our response - We will review your claim within 1-2 business days
- Follow instructions - If approved, we will provide instructions for return or replacement
⚠️ Important: Claims submitted after 48 hours of delivery may not be accepted. We are not responsible for damage not reported immediately.
SHIPPING COSTS FOR RETURNS
- Damaged/Broken Items: We will cover return shipping costs or send a prepaid shipping label
- Non-Delivery: No return shipping required (item never arrived)
- All Other Cases: Returns are not accepted, so shipping costs are not applicable
REFUND PROCESSING TIME
If your refund is approved:
- Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days after we receive the returned item (if applicable)
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for purchase
- Depending on your bank or credit card company, it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account
- You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed
REPLACEMENT OPTION
For damaged or broken items, you may choose between:
- Full refund to your original payment method, OR
- Free replacement of the same item (we'll ship it at no charge)
Replacement items are subject to availability. If the item is out of stock, we will offer a full refund or store credit for a future purchase.

- Color Variations: Natural dyes may vary batch to batch
- Slight Imperfections: Signs of handmade quality, not machine production
These characteristics prove your candle is made from pure, natural soy wax without chemical additives. They do NOT affect burn time, scent throw, or candle performance.
